MICHAEL EMMITT GREEN

Appellant

v.

STATE OF ARKANSAS

Appellee

CR 03-899

PRO SE MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE REPLY BRIEF [CIRCUIT COURT OF SALINE COUNTY, NO. CR 98-191-2, HON. GARY M. ARNOLD, JUDGE]

MOTION GRANTED

Per Curiam

Michael Emmitt Green was found guilty by a jury of rape and sentenced to 360 months' imprisonment. The court of appeals affirmed. Green v. State, CACR 99-370 (Ark. App. January 12, 2000).

Green subsequently filed a timely pro se petition for postconviction relief pursuant to Criminal Procedure Rule 37.1 in the trial court seeking to have the judgment vacated. The petition was denied, and the record on appeal from that order has been lodged here. Appellant Green, who is incarcerated and proceeding pro se, now seeks an extension of time to file the appellant's reply brief.

The motion for extension of time to file the appellant's reply brief, which is the first such motion filed by appellant in this appeal, is granted. The time to file the reply brief is extended to fourteen days from the date of this opinion.

Motion granted.
