ARKANSAS SUPREME COURT

BUFFORD McDONALD

Appellant

v.

STATE OF ARKANSAS

Appellee

CR 02-1317

PETITION FOR REHEARING [CIRCUIT COURT OF POPE COUNTY, CR 98-104, HONORABLE JOHN S. PATTERSON, JUDGE]

PETITION FOR REHEARING DENIED

Per Curiam

Appellant appealed the denial of his petition for writ of error coram nobis by the Pope County Circuit Court. On November 6, 2003, we affirmed the circuit court's order denying appellant's petition. McDonald v. State, CR 02-1317 (Ark. Nov. 6, 2003). Appellant now petitions for rehearing.

Rule 2-3(g) of the Rules of the Arkansas Supreme Court provides that the petition for rehearing should be used to call attention to specific errors of law or fact which the opinion is thought to contain. As appellant fails to identify any error in the court's opinion, we decline to consider his petition for rehearing. Instead, appellant repeats the argument in his brief on appeal. A "brief on rehearing is not intended to afford an opportunity for a mere repetition of the argument already considered by the Court." Ark. Sup. Ct. R. 2-3(g) (2003).

Petition denied.
