CR 03-363

PRO SE MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE BRIEF [CIRCUIT COURT OF HOWARD COUNTY, NO. CR 2000-58]

MOTION GRANTED

Per Curiam

In 2000, Robert Lee Trotter, Jr., was found guilty of commercial burglary and misdemeanor theft of property. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to an aggregate term of 240 months' imprisonment. The court of appeals affirmed. Trotter v. State, CACR 01-306 (Ark. App. October 9, 2002). Trotter subsequently filed in the trial court a timely petition pursuant to Criminal Procedure Rule 37.1 seeking to vacate the judgment. The petition was denied, and the record on appeal from the order has been lodged here.

Appellant, who is proceeding pro se, filed the instant motion for extension of time to file the appellant's brief. It is the first such motion filed by the appellant. After the motion was filed, appellant tendered the brief. We grant the motion and direct the clerk to file the tendered brief.
