James K. Anderson filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this court contending that the Honorable James Hudson, Circuit Judge, had failed to act within a reasonable time on a petition for postconviction relief pursuant to Criminal Procedure Rule 37 filed in the Circuit Court of Grant County.1 On May 11, 2001, Judge Hudson entered an order disposing of the Rule 37 petition. As the circuit court has acted in the matter, the petition for writ of mandamus is moot.

1 Petitioner Anderson also made reference to an amended Rule 37 petition, but the record does not reflect that he obtained leave from the court to file an amended petition as required by Rule 37.2(e).
