STATE OF ARKANSAS
Appellee
CR 00-674
PRO SE MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE BRIEF [CIRCUIT COURT OF MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, CHICKASAWBA DISTRICT, CR 98-387]
MOTION GRANTED (FINAL EXTENSION)
In 1999, Curtis Blockman was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and sentenced to 120 months' imprisonment. The court of appeals affirmed. Blockman v. State , 69 Ark. App. 192, 11 S.W.3d 567 (2000). The mandate of the court was issued on March 14, 2000. Blockman subsequently filed in the trial court a timely petition pursuant to Criminal Procedure Rule 37 seeking to vacate the judgment. The petition was denied, and the record on appeal from the order has been lodged here.
Appellant Blockman requests an extension of time to file the appellant's brief. One extension has already been granted in this appeal. Blockman v. State, CR 00-674 (November 2, 2000). The time to file the appellant's brief is extended to forty days from the date of this opinion. Because the time for filing the appellant's brief has already been extended once beforeand appellant has had since June 8, 2000, to prepare his brief, no further extensions of time will be granted.
Motion granted (final extension).
