May 15, 2009, at the Justice Building, the Arkansas Supreme Court honored winners from area middle schools in the Court’s 2009 art competition.
Over 300 students from four local middle schools (Mabelvale Magnet Middle School, Maumelle Middle School, Mann Arts and Science Magnet Middle School, and Robinson Middle School) in grades 6th, 7th and 8th participated in the contest which included a drawing and a paragraph describing the drawing.
The art work and paragraph from the top four winners from each school, along with a picture of each student, has been framed and will be permanently hung in the Justice Building.
